The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in pasture-land on the E facing slope of a prominent hill with wide views of the surrounding countryside. Lough Lene 400m to S. Grass covered wall footings of a rectangular house site are visible in the W quadrant of a ringfort (WM008-008----).
