The National Monuments Service's description
Possible holy well depicted as 'Tobernamasal' on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map bit not indicated on later revised editions of the OS maps. Situated at the base of Kinturk Hill on the demesne lands of Kinturk House. Well is enclosed by flagstones and according to local folklore was known as the 'well of the leaking hands' (pers. comm. T. J. O'Meara 29 June 2016).
