The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on low-lying wet pasture-land. Ringfort (WM006-040----) 130m to NE. Originally depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map, but shown as a D-shaped area the SW quadrant of which is now truncated by a post-1700 field boundary on the revised 1911 ed. OS 6-inch map. Present remains consist of a D-shaped area (approx. diam. 32m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank mainly reduced to a scarp. A post-1700 field fence running NW-SE and a drain intersects the site at SW. There is no visible trace of the monument to the W of this field boundary. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NE-SW across the interior of the monument.
