The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. About half of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 32m) truncated at the NW by a public road. The site is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.7m; H 1m) with internal drystone facing of a similar character to the surrounding field boundaries. There is an external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.1-0.2m) with a gap (Wth 2m) at the SE. Within the enclosure are two rectangular hollows, at the SE (L 15m; Wth 5m; max. D 2m) and NE (L 5m; Wth 3m; D 1m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
