The National Monuments Service's description
This is the record for the three adjacent pits excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3216) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The pits were dated to the early Neolithic based on 31 sherds of Carinated Bowl recovered from them. (Whitty 2009e)
