The National Monuments Service's description
This is the record for the burnt mound and associated pits partially excavated by Gill McLoughlin (E4055) on the N11 road improvement scheme. Radiocarbon dates from the excavation place it in the late Neolithic/early Bronze Age period. (McLoughlin 2010b)
