The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a level area in undulating terrain. A 19th-century church, which possibly overlies an earlier church (WI032-001001-), and a graveyard (WI032-001002-) lie within an oval enclosure marked as circular on the 1838 OS 6-inch map (dims. 70m N-S; 50m E-W). The S portion of the enclosure is intact and is defined by a bank (Wth 3m; H 1.5m). The N part has been removed and the modern rectangular graveyard added on. Other than the enclosure there is no surviving evidence of an early site.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
