The National Monuments Service's description
A series of pits, post-holes, stake-holes, slot trenches and a charcoal spread were excavated in 2008 (Excavation Licence 08E0810) in advance of the second phase of expansion of the Ballynagran Landfill (Kelleher 2011, 378-9).
