The National Monuments Service's description

On a small level break on a marked SE-facing slope. According to the OS Letters 'the peasantry assert that this (WI031-001001-) contained an old Church (WI031-001----) and was the burying place of the family and dependants of Mac Dermot's castle; it certainly does exhibit the remains of broken old graves internally' (O'Flanagan 1928, 120-21). No visible surface indication was noted when inspected by ASI in 1990.
