The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope at the foot of Keadeen Mountain, with marshy ground to the W. Circular area (diam. 27.5m) defined by a stone wall from S-W-E (Wth 1.2m) with a low inner and outer revetment of small boulders and a core of loose stone; the wall has collapsed in some areas (Wth 1.8-2m). Along the SE perimeter another wall with inner stone facing was constructed outside the line of the original enclosure terminating in a cusped entrance feature (Wth 1.5m) at the E. A gap in the revetment of boulders at the SSW may indicate the location of the original entrance. There is a rectangular structure (max. ext. dims. 6.9m E-W; 6.3m N-S) in the interior to E of centre defined by uncoursed drystone walls (Wth 1.2m) with an entrance on the S side.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
