The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the lower SE slopes of Brusselstown Hill. Foundations of a rectangular structure aligned ENE-WSW (int. dims. 7.2m x 4.7m) defined by a rough uncoursed rubble wall (Wth 0.65m; H 0.8m) with a straight inner face. There are no indications of a door or windows. A rough granite piscina (L 0.55m) with a channel running lengthways into a circular basin (diam. 0.1m) sits on the S wall of the church. The church is located towards the W side of a subtriangular enclosure marked on the 1838 OS 6-inch map (dims. c. 29m NW-SE; c. 25m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; H 0.4m) except to the N where a line of upright slabs marks the inner face of the bank. There are no grave-markers and no indication of an entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
