The National Monuments Service's description
A series of pits were excavated here in 2002 (Excavation Licence 02E0567 (site B)) prior to the construction of the N11 Wicklow Bypass. The excavator suggests that they 'may well be prehistoric in date and the result of single use hearths' (Powell 2005, 9)
