The National Monuments Service's description
Located: 0.9m E of NE corner of nave of church (WI023-028001-) (Healy 1972, no. 215, 77). Described by Healy (1972, 77) as a ‘cross shaft of fine grained mica schist 0.65M high, 0.07M thick and tapering in width from 0.34m at the bottom to 0.25m at the fractured top. The edges of this shaft are convex in plan. There is a 2.5cm dowel hole in the top face. It is tenoned into a base of a courser grade of mica schist 1.07m x 0.35m x 0.10m high’.
