The National Monuments Service's description
This stone was moved to its present location from the church (WI018-001----) at Ashtown. it consists of a fine grained granite boulder (0.77m x 0.70m and 0.24m high). It contains a slightly oval, bowl-shaped bullaun (0.31m x 0.35m and 0.14m deep) (pers. comm. C. Corlett).
