The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at a break in a marked SE-facing slope in rough upland pasture. The NW half of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) preserved in a field boundary. Apparently defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2-2.4m; ext. H 0.5m; int. H 1.2m) with traces of an inner revetment of small boulders. No indication of the remainder of the site, which is shown as a circular enclosure on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. No indication of an entrance or external fosse.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
