The National Monuments Service's description

The remains of a linear ditch (L 47m E-W), a structure defined by post-holes, a cremation pit, a number of animal burials and a curvilinear feature (L 10m) were excavated here in 2003 prior to the construction of the dual carriageway from the R671 to Greystones (Excavation Licence 03E0018 (Site A). Finds included a Late Bronze Age socketed looped axehead and Beaker pottery. (Molloy 2006, 545)
