The National Monuments Service's description
Excavated in 2001 as part of road construction work (Excavation Licence 01E0610). A small spread of burnt stone and soil was uncovered, they remaining part lies within the embankment forming the western edge of the road and was not excavated. (Casey 2003, 421)
