The National Monuments Service's description

Excavated in 2001 prior to the insertion of a Bord Gáis Éireann gas pipeline (Excavation Licence 01E0572). A series of pits, post-holes, stake-holes, a stone surface, troughs, burnt mound material and a Bronze Age round house (WI008-057----) were uncovered here. (Ó Néill 2003, 424-5)
