The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the edge of a shelf on a NW-facing slope overlooking the NE-SW Goish stream, c. 240m to the NW. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 32m E-W; 31. 5m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3.7-4.2m; int. H 0.6-1.1m; ext. H 0.6 at W to 1.7-2m generally), incorporated into a stone-faced field bank N-SE. There is an outer fosse (at W: Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.5-2m; D 0.5m) SE-NW and there is a stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.7m), but no causeway, at W. Burnt mound (WA035-027----) is c. 110m to the WSW.
