The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the crest of a steep NE-facing slope overlooking the NW-SE Dalligan River, with the stream c. 100m to the NE. Described in 1936 as the site of a church and graveyard (NMI file), it may the same location as early church site described by Power (1907, 113). A slight oval mound (dims. 5.5m E-W; 3.5m N-S) may be natural.
