The National Monuments Service's description
On relatively flat terrain, in pasture. A long high hillock runs roughly E-W c. 300m to the S. A number of rectangular enclosures have been identified on LIDAR by Dowling (24 September 2016) immediately E and SE and S of a circular enclosure (WA031-046001-) and castle (WA031-046002-). These features are difficult to discern at ground level.
