Archaeological testing (02E0430) (Noonan 2004c) and excavation (02E0430) (Tierney (2006b) on a large site on the W side of Church Street uncovered extensive medieval deposits, which were largely featureless, apart from pits. (Noonan 2004c; Tierney 2006b)
