The National Monuments Service's description

There is a two storey house (int. dims. 12.6m x 8.9m) known as Garvan's Church on Castle St., possibly 15th or 16th century in date. The façade has a pointed doorway and slit window, now blocked, and there are the remains of a slit window in the E gable at first-floor level. It ahs now been conserved (96E0306) and recorded (Pollock 1996b, 14-18). (Bradley et al. 1989, vol. 1, 17)
