The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the S edge of a plateau before the ground slopes away to the SW. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 30m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) with external stone-facing, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m) SE-SW. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The bank is planted with coniferous trees.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
