The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a low-lying landscape on the floor of the Cappagh valley. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 70m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, ALS 82), although the perimeter is missing W-N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
