The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the crest of the W-facing slope of a low N-S ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m ENE-WSW) defined by an overgrown, flat-topped earthen bank (at WSW: Wth 5.8m; int. H 1.6m; ext. H 2.3m) which is curtailed at N by an E-W field bank. The entrance is not identified, but there are gaps at ESE (Wth 6.5m) and WNW (Wth 3m) that may be modern, and there is no visible fosse.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
