The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular embanked enclousre (ext. diam. c. 45m) o the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a fragment of a bank (C c. 25m) W-N on the 1922 ed. Situated on the E-facing slope of the N-S valley of the Kilfarrasy stream. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 35m) defined by an overgrown, flat-topped bank (Wth at base 8m; Wth at top 3m; int. H 2m; ext. H 2.8m) and outer fosse (Wth at base 2.5m; D 0.8m) W-N, with a slight scarp elsewhere.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
