The National Monuments Service's description
Marked faintly as a subcircular feature (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) with the perimeter incorporated in a straight N-S field bank at W on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture on a gentle S-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level. The possible ringfort (WA025-049----) is c. 80m to the NNE, and evidence of metalworking (WA025-127----) was recovered c. 60m to the E.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
