The National Monuments Service's description
Marked faintly as a circular enclosure (diam. c 50m) described as the 'Site of Lisnagree' on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as the site of 'Lios na gCroidhe' on the 1927 ed. Situated in pasture on an E-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level but the size and name suggest that it may have been a ringfort.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
