The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a broad rise. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 42m) defined by an overgrown, flat-topped, stone-revetted bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H of revetment 1-1.3m). The external revetment has collapsed in places creating a wider bank (max. Wth 5m; ext. H 1.8-2m). There is a stone-revetted entrance (Wth 2.2m) at N where the bank is augmented with cairn material. There is no visible fosse.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
