The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the bottom of a slope at the S end of a small S-N valley. This is an upright stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 1.6m x 0.4m; H 2.1m) and a crest sloping down to the W. The stone is oriented ENE-WSW.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
