The National Monuments Service's description
Late 16th-century building of three bays and three storeys, with two original fireplaces and a laver. Discovered during the refurbishment of a building on Exchange St. in 1992 and recorded by B. Murtagh (1993).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
