The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle SE-facing slope overlooking a shallow basin to the SE. A shale stone with a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.4m x 0.3m; H 1.74m) oriented approximately E-W. The stone narrows towards the top (dims. 0.2m x 0.15m) and has a cupmark on the N side close to the top. It is situated within an enclosure (WA008-051002-), with standing stone (WA008-048----) c. 120m to the E and standing stone (WA008-050----) c. 150m to the N.
