The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a small circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 30m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and known locally as a 'lios'. Situated on a S-facing slope. D-shaped, scrub-covered area (int. dims. 24m N-S; 21.5m E-W) with the straight side at E, defined by drystone walls (Wth 1-2m; max. H 1.1m). The entrance (Wth 2m) is at N, and it may be a modern feature.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
