The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered platform (dims. 39m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank W-N-E, best preserved at N (Wth 6.5m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.9m), which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.6-0.7m) E-S and incorporated into a stone-revetted field bank S-W (ext. H 1.6m). There is an external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 7.3m; Wth at base 2.2m; int. D 0.6m; ext. D 0.4m) N-S. The entrance (Wth 2.7m) is a dip in the perimeter at SSE.
