The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 60m) as the focus of five field banks on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a broad plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 37m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by a broadly spread earthen bank best preserved E-SW (Wth c. 12m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m), with intermittent traces of an outer fosse (Wth 8-15m). A dip in the bank at ENE (Wth 5.5m) may be the entrance, and all field banks in the vicinity have been removed. Enclosure (WA003-016----) is c. 110m to the WNW.
