The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 48m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a broad hill. Slightly raised, grass-covered circular area (dims. 39m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4-0.8m). A stone field wall retains the perimeter SW-W. The entrance at ENE is marked by a slight dip in the scarp.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
