The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. Marked faintly as a circular enclosure on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 39m N-S; 35m E-W) slightly dished in profile and defined by a widely spread earthen bank (Wth 7-8.5m; H 0.2-0.6m). No visible fosse. The entrance (Wth 4.5m) appears as a slight dip in the perimeter at NE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
