The National Monuments Service's description

On the SE end of the Knockmealdown Mountains, c. 600m from the summit of Knocknasculloge, in a ravine with multiple rivulets which form the Glenshelane River further downstream.

A rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 23m NW-SE; c. 14m NE-SE), visible on satellite imagery (National Tree Maps and on Tailte Éireann 2013 to 2018 MapGenie), identified and reported by Anne-Lebaupain McCarthy. The W boundary of the enclosure bows outward slightly. There is a possible internal feature in the NE angle.
