The National Monuments Service's description
On a level platform of gradual E-facing slope of a ridge between Knocknagearagh to the N and Knockardbounce to the S, in a river valley in the Knockmealdown mountains. This is part of a complex of enclosures (TS091-009001-; TS091-009008-; TS091-009009-; TS091-009012-), hut sites (TS091-009003-; TS091-009004-; TS091-009006-; TS091-009010-; TS091-009011-; TS091-009015-), a possible ring-cairn (TS091-009002-), clearance cairns (TS091-009005-) and a field system (TS091-009013-) identified by Diarmuid O'Keeffe, 1996. Much denuded, roughly circular enclosure (diam. 32m N-S; 30.5m E-W) consisting of a rubble sandstone wall (Wth 2.45-2.8m; int. H 0.32-0.65m; ext. H 0.52-0.87m) which is grass and moss covered. Possible narrow entrance to E defined by a large boulder on the N side with a flat face along the line of the entrance. There is a large displaced boulder lying c. 1m outside the possible entrance.
