The National Monuments Service's description
In upland marshy terrain, on the W bank of a stream. This fulacht fia is incorporated in a field boundary which runs NW-SE, parallel with a stream which runs along the E side of the boundary. In 1995 the landowner widened a gap in the field boundary when building a bridge over the stream. Burnt mound material, fire-cracked stones and black charcoal-rich soil, was revealed in the exposed face of the field boundary (Wth c. 3.5m; H 0.4-1m) and appears to have extended for c. 1m NW of the exposed face where burnt mound material is evident on the surface, formally at the base of the field boundary.
