The National Monuments Service's description

On a NW-facing slope in upland, undulating terrain, in rough pasture. A curving stream runs along the base of the scarp of the monument to the S and W. There is a souterrain (TS088-082----) outside the ringfort, running N-S, 7m from the base of scarp in the NW sector. A circular enclosure (diam. 20.3m N-S; 17.5m E-W to farm trackway) defined by a gentle scarp (H 0.65-0.72m; Wth c. 4m). Though much denuded this enclosure was probably a ringfort as it is closely associated with a souterrain. The E edge of the monument was truncated by a farm trackway built in 1995. The interior slopes with the natural slope to the N.
