The National Monuments Service's description
On a fairly steep NW-facing slope of hill in rough terrain. Circular enclosure (diam. 54m). NE portion of ringfort used as garden vegetable plot. Interior slopes to NW. Slight depression in the centre. A lot of modifications have been made to the bank (Wth. crest 1.0m, base 1.9m; int. H 1.35m; ext. H 0.7m). Lime kiln on E bank on the 1st (1840) 6-inch OS map, no trace of the lime kiln now, bank also gone in this quad. Edge of monument delimited by shallow quarry. Bank best preserved in N quadrant. The N quadrant edge is defined by scarp. Field boundary runs along base of the scarp (H 0.8m). Field bank of earth and stone with quite a steep profile delimits the SW quadrant. A shallow fosse survives (Wth. 1.8m; H. 0.5m).
