On S facing slope, off hill crest, in undulating terrain under pasture. Small quarry located c. 20m to ENE. Loughlohery tower house (TS082-004----); Nicholastown tower house (TS082-043----) and Ballindoney tower house (TS082-059----) are visible, the former to N and two latter to SE. Circular enclosure (diam. 31.3m N-S; 33.2m E-W) defined by earthen bank (Wth 2.4m crest, 4.6m base; int. H 0.93m; ext. H 0.5m). E half of site has been ploughed over but is still visible as a slight bank, the W half, particularly the NW quad. is the best preserved. No clear indication of outer fosse. Interior slopes to S. Bank too denuded to discern entrance feature. A quern stone (diam. 0.31m with slight protrudence for depression for turning handle) was found on the ringfort while ploughing.
