The National Monuments Service's description
On a SE-facing slope, on the edge of a steep mountain stream ravine, in the Galtee Mountains. A ruinous house (int. dims. 5m NE-SW; 3.1m NW-SE) with collapsed turf-covered walls (Wth 0.6-0.8m; max. H 1.35m) at the NW end of a yard. The house is dug into the hill slope. The entrance (Wth 0.9m) is roughly centrally placed in the SE wall. The yard (dims. c. 10m NW-SE; c. 7m NE-SW) is enclosed by a stone wall (Wth 1.15m, extending to 2.3m with collapse; max. H 1.3m), partially constructed with boulders. There is a small annex at the S angle of the yard (dims. 3.9m NW-SE; 2.1m NE-SW) with an entrance (Wth 1.2m) in its wall. There is no well defined entrance to the yard.
