The National Monuments Service's description
Inserted in a modern wall near the road, 70m SW of Burncourt Castle (TS080-004001-). The stone (L 1.1m; W 0.19m) appears to have been the lintel of a internal doorway or fire surround, opening 0.7m L and came from Burncourt castle the adjacent fortified house. It bears the date '1641'.
