The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-facing slope of lower foothills of Slievenamon in wet, marshy terrain. Possibly situated within ringfort (TS078-003----). According to local tradition there is a 'cave' at this ringfort, which possibly refers to a souterrain. The interior of the ringfort is very uneven, it is possible that depressions may indicate presence of a souterrain below, however, no opening was visible at time of inspection.
