The National Monuments Service's description

Formerly on a natural flat ridge, in undulating pasture. There are extensive views in all directions. A standing stone is indicated as 'leagaun' on the 1901-05 ed. OS 6-inch map. There is no visible trace of the monument in the field. According to local information the stone was broken up and removed many years ago.
