The National Monuments Service's description
On summit of broad ridge, at highest point. Ground sloping off gradually in all directions except to WSW, under pasture. Circular area (diam. 32.6m N-S; 32.7m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 2-2.1m crest, 4.2-5.7m base; H above int. 0.17-0.71m; H above ext. 0.95-1.04m) measurement in S and N quadrants respectively. Bank is more denuded on W half of ringfort, typical of S quadrant, N quadrant is more typical of E half. Some stone visible in mainly earthen banks. No visible external fosse. Break in bank (Wth 1.6m) in NW sector and also in NW (Wth c. 1.2m), both appear to be cattle gaps. Field boundaries have been constructed since the 2nd (1901-05) ed. OS 6-inch map. N-S field boundary runs 25-30m W of ringfort.
