The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle W-facing slope of Cappa Hill in undulating upland pasture. A ridge runs E-W c. 20m N of the possible enclosure. Cappa Castle (TS075-022----) is visible c. 1.7km to the W. Monument identified as the cropmark of a possible circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on an aerial photograph (GSI 16.4.1974, R.510). The landowner never noticed anything in this field and nothing unusual was noted when the field was ploughed c. 10 years ago (c. 1990). The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
